Fred Segal and Lords in LA!!
We are thrilled to announce that Fred Segal in Santa Monica and Lords Boutique in Melrose have picked up the NIMANY tshirts and soon you will see them on their shelves.
FRED SEGAL: (310) 394-4787, 420 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Fred Segal is the starting point for a day of celebrity-stalking. It has been a hotbed of celebrity-sanctioned casualwear trends. The store buyers take chances on emerging talent, and as a result, have launched cutting-edge looks from Jared Gold, Alicia Lawhon (both former clerks here) on up to international names like Martin Margiela. Cameron Diaz, Meg Ryan and Gwyneth Paltrow have been photographed carrying the store's distinctive white bag with the red and blue logo. The store is actually a collection of boutiques, thorough which rock music blares, making it feel like a nightclub for day. Everything is eye-candy appealing, from the Earl Jeans (which also launched here) to the Marc Jacobs and Jill Stuart minidresses and now Nima Behnoud's NIMANY tshirts!!
Once a year, Fred Segal holds a sale usually in late September. Fifty percent off everything. We know people who travel from far away to hit this annual sale!
LORDS:
Every rock star reaches the point where he no longer wants to look like his own fans. Lords, a nondescript Lower Melrose menswear shop, has spent the past decade proffering 100-percent handmade clothing to rock stars and Hollywood royalty. Though the novice client would never admit it. At Lords, that means putting them in custom suits that can hit $8,000 and jeans that can reach $750. Jaber, who was schooled in Birmingham, applies traditional English tailoring techniques not only to suits but denim, leather and t-shirts. Next spring the brand will reopen in the former Le Colonial building in West Hollywood, with a full men's and women's collection, second-tier sportswear line, and in-house restaurant.
